Movie Blog Post

Cyberbully
This movie is about a teenage girl who falls victim to a cyberbully and the pain and embarrassment it causes for her at school. Cyberbullying soon to real life bullying, and soon she reaches a breaking point. Faced with thoughts of suicide she decides to fight back instead and learns she is not alone. She works to enact cyberbullying laws to help prevent what happened to her from happening to others. A counselor might like this movie because it deals with a rapidly growing problem in today’s schools.  I watched this movie this summer on Netflix and realized the portrayal of the problem was very lifelike and could be used to reach students more than a lecture would.
